Opal Africa 100g

Opal Africa is a wear-resistant yarn made from 75% virgin wool (superwash) and 25% polyamide in 8 vibrant colourways. Ideally suited for knitting cosy warm socks with unique colour patterns, but of course also for sweaters, cardigans, hats, gloves, scarves or stuffed toys. Opal found the inspiration for this colour palette in the impressive landscapes, spectacular vegetation and exciting animal world of the African continent. The yarn is twisted from four strands and is therefore very durable. 

Thanks to the superwash treatment, the wool is easy to care for and is machine washable up to 40ᵒC. From one ball of yarn you can knit one pair of socks (up to size 44). The yarn is suitable for needle sizes 2.00-2.50mm and is available in 8 colours. One ball of Opal Africa weighs 100 grams and holds 425 metres of yarn.
