ChiaoGoo QUADS™ Interchangeable Tips - NEW!

NEW QUADS™ square, stainless steel interchangeable tips (available in both 4"/10cm and 5"/13cm lengths) in sizes 3.25mm through 8mm and compatible with all small [S] and large [L] join interchangeable cables.

Test knitters found the square shape to be more comfortable to hold than round needles due to the flat sides with rounded corners.  Many stated they encountered less hand, wrist, finger, and even shoulder strain because their grip felt more secure and thus they were able to be more relaxed. One tester was moved to tears as she realized she could knit again without pain.

Even tightening and loosening the connection is easier because of the flat sides.

Made with the same hypoallergenic stainless steel and point design, the QUADS have the same weight and yarn glide as the round TWIST tips. Some test knitters stated that their stitch definition was more uniform, and all were pleasantly surprised to find their gauge to be the same as when knitting with the same size round tips. We purposefully calibrated the QUADS to do this! Unlike other square-shaped needles, there is no need to “size up” to get the right gauge.

Now here comes the magical part! Born out of a need to provide rotational freedom for the QUADS we have designed swivel adapters (patent pending). Here is a video on how to install these adapters.

They are an engineering marvel that allow any of our [S] or [L] TWIST interchangeable red and blue cables to swivel WITHOUT compromising the smoothness of the joins.

That is right, the already beloved memory-free red cables can now swivel. Any current owner can upgrade their ChiaoGoo interchangeable set with a pack of these adapters.

In the case of the Blue Shorties, adding a swivel adaptor on just one side can increase knitting comfort while still accommodating a small circumference project.
